peace love food, llc was launched in 2012 by Chef Laureen Herzig on a mission to inspire collaborative chaos throughout the global food marketplace and create personal emotional connections until the very last bite.

Chef Herzig passionately leads collaborative teams that inspire creativity in food and cultural development.

Chef Herzig’ leadership presence, spirit and passion are infectious and she brings a bright light on the innovation front bringing new ideas and fresh thinking forward. Chef WISHED she could do something to make a difference and decided to DO something about it!

With over 30 years of culinary experience highlighted with positions as the Corporate Chef for Mrs. Smith’s Bakeries, Executive Chef for the NBA Sacramento Kings, Innovation & Development Chef for Rich Products and she served as the Director of Business Imagination for The Original Cakerie.. Chef Herzig is described by her peers as “a brilliant expert on the future of global food trends”.

As the Chef Owner of peace love food, llc Chef Herzig provides culinary support for food manufacturing companies; independent and national chain restaurants; industry trends and customer marketing analysis as well as menu design and research and development for innovative product concepts.  She is an active member of the American Culinary Federation, Research Chefs Association, Women’s Foodservice Forum and Les Dames d’ Escoffier International.
          
If she is not cooking you will find her on an airplane traveling to the next food filled work adventure, at home on the Piazza di Lido enjoying a cold beverage or vacationing with her husband John eating and exploring the local fare while watching a cycling event.
